The X Developer's Meeting is now underway at the Cambridge Research Laboratory in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Federico Mena-Quintero has put a nice write-up online of the first day of talks, the write-up is available here

1. Does anyone know when those things will be implemented in regular X??? (transparency, hardware accelerated SVG, shadows) Searched everywhere but there's not even a single timeline.

2. Will those changes remain only in Keith Packard X or will they be included in X.Org?
