Hmm... I'm fairly sure it doesn't have any gnome dependencies as such, just G in the gname...

hm... the regedit type interface could be better, it especially could do with a search... but I don't know how the interface could be made better (maybe have a navigation mode based on where things are in the applications:/// menu ???)....
