Gaim is an Instant Messaging, Multi Protocol, application written in GTK2+.

From the news page: "0.81 doesn't have too much in the way of new features, but we closed about 240 bugs since the last release."

Formatting toolbar no longer functions

not sure if this is GTK or gaim but my formatting tool bar icons and smiley menu popup are all greyed out and unresponsive.
