Error reading from notification server?

Hi! Since Gaim 0.80 I cannot use my MSN account due to an "Error reading from notification server" but I haven't seen this posted anywhere so I don't know if I'm the only one getting this error. Does anyone know about this bug? Googling a bit I found out that some Fedora users got this, too. Gaim 0.82 doesn't fix it. Kopete and aMSN work without any problems. Do some of Gaim users get this also?
