The well known image viewer and browser, gThumb, had a new version today, 2.6.0. New features include but not limited to: Allow to CD burn the current catalog. Use the Gtk+ UI Manager to handle menus and toolbar. Use the Gtk+ FileChooser for saving and loading images or selecting folders. You can rate the application here.

Gthumb is really a very good application, thanks a lot!

What I miss most is a fast way to rotate images.

You can apply the "rotate image" dialog, but you have to:

- click on "rotate image";

- click on the "rotate clockwise" or "rotate counter clockwise" button;

- click on apply.

It is three clicks, with one dialog window and one preview that take a non negligible time, while in windows XP you just have one button to click.

So my suggestion would be to add these buttons directly in the tool bar.
