Contacts and Calendar not working for me

I Installed a fresh linux from scratc and gnome 2.8
Evolution installed great, but no luck with the contacts or the calendar,
It simply doesn't open any dialog. It does with the mail. :-(

2.0 worked great and 2.0.2 IS working great :-) 2.6.8-gentoo-r4, gnome 2.8, evolution 2.0.2

I installed 2.0 with the garnome 2.8 system and it isn't as stable as I expected. It keeps losing my "Sent" folder trying to import it again every few days. I'm trying to install 2.0.2 now but I get a lot of dependency errors, so I'll leave it for later when I'm not so busy.

Try compiling 2.0.2 with the following libs...

libsoup-2.2.1

evolution-data-server-1.0.2

gal-2.2.3

libgtkhtml-3.2.3

Wow! YAY!! Mabye evolution won't crash on me all the time like it always has! Oh yippe! Hooray! Maybe connector will work for more than 20 seconds at a time! Wow I can't believe how excited I am! I think I'm going to piss myself with glee!

I swear that after today I will never ever use thunderbird again even though it has behaved perfectly for me in every single concievable way, it is done! Even though thunderbird has a very sensible UI and doesn't have even one stupid nonesensical pile of ugly buttons dumped in the lower left corner, I don't care! Evolution it is from now on!

Yay evolution!!
