With the imminent release of the GIMP 2.2, the time has come to find the ideal splash screen to go with it. The GIMP website is running a splash contest for this. Now is your chance to join the ranks of the precious few who have had their artwork associated with a major release of the GIMP!

The GNOME Wiki that we used as a way for people to submit their entries doesn't really deal the slashdot effect very well. So we have taken the submission info down for now. It will be put back up later. In the meantime you could start doing some nice splashes ;)
