Dropline GNOME 2.10.1 Released

GNOME

Just wanted to let everyone know that Dropline GNOME has officially released their build of GNOME 2.10.1, as of last night. Most of the changes were bugfix updates from gnome.org. We've also updated a few other non-GNOME components (such as Firefox 1.0.3) as well.

Here's the announcement from the front page:

    2005-4-19 - Dropline GNOME 2.10.1 Released
Many of you may have noticed that several 2.10.1 packs have trickled in over the last week. If you've been keeping your systems up-to-date, with the dropline-installer, then you should be running Dropline GNOME 2.10.1, the second in the series of our "All Roads Lead to GNOME" releases. This is mostly just a bugfix release. Most of the updates are for components of the GNOME core. We may make a few more changes over the next few days, but things should be in good, stable, order for the time being.

    Enjoy!

zzzz. Snore

That is the bad thing about OSS projects. When the maintainer gets bored, the project dies. I hope that is not happening to gnomedesktop.org because this site was pretty cool for a long time. Things have been pretty slow around here lately though.

Great, and seems most of the new packages are smaller as well which suggests optimization.
