The GNOME Art Collection written in ruby is a collection of tools for managing art from the art.gnome.org website. The first app, GNOME Art is a graphical frontend for art.gnome.org. Backgrounds and all themes can be downloaded and previewed. Backgrounds, icon themes and splash screens can be installed directly. GNOME Splash Screen Manager is an
application for managing the splash screens of your GNOME desktop.

Just to get this straight

This allows you to browse art.gnome.org from within the app, and then install directly from the app? That's really really cool. The theme manager needed work, and this might just solve the problem.

My only beef is that art.gnome.org selection is somewhat limited when compared to say, gnome-look.org. It would be nice if other sites implemented the same APIs as art.gnome.org so apps like this could have multiple repositories.

Regardless, it looks really neat. I'm going to install it.
