Evolution compiles on Windows

Evolution
Evolution

Novell has managed to compile Evolution for the Windows platform. The build is currently extremely unstable though, with Novell senior software engineer Tor Lillqvist stating: "You cannot run Evolution on Windows yet ... there isn't anything for end-users to beta-test yet." Lillqvist stated he can start serious debugging work from this point.

Update: Here is a screenshot and here.

Did I say KDE ?

I never said KDE. And even if I used KDE (which I don't), I don't see how the type of desktop environment I currently use impacts on the stability of one app.

What is a desktop environment anyway ? Its a windows manager - which I use KWin on GNOME due to the fact that it kicks ass and currently the best window manager available anywhere (luminocity not withstanding - I tried to compile it and failed) - a desktop app and some sort of panel system, both of which are just regular apps anyway, with special window manager hints.
