Red Hat Magazine with story on Inkscape

Inkscape
Inkscape

Latest issue of Red Hat Magazine features an introduction to Inkscape and an interview with two of Red Hat's designers on what they like about Inkscape. Inkscape is as you know the vector graphics drawing program for GNOME which utilizes the w3c standarized SVG format. So for your weekly dose of Inkscape news go read the article.

Include it in Fedora

I think it's time to include inkscape in Fedora Core. It was easy to install, but IMHO it's at least as useful as the GIMP which is already there. On another note, I want GIMP and Inkscape to appear at the top of the (is it "graphics"?) menu. I don't want the PDF viewer and the other viewer (I forget which it is) at the top of the menu. I almost never open a viewer app - I open the document instead. IMHO it is a valid question weather the pure viewer apps should even have a menu entry - if so, they should be at the bottom of the menu.
