Ugh

Xfce, or other *Box ultra light stuff desktop users should not complaint. Today Id say 60% percent of GTK apps are written for GNOME, with the HIG, and gnome in mind.

Switch to GNOME or find another toolkit, or install libgnomeui, etc.

GTK without the push it got from the GNOME desktop, would be nothing.
