Tux is anti-gnome

Tux Magazine content contains a lot of baseless anti-GNOME sentiment. If they just criticized the desktop environment, I'd have no problem with it, but they criticize the community as well. The editor and some of the writers have gone out of their way to antagonize readers that use the GNOME environment. We shouldn't promote their publication here unless they are willing to give us equal time and fair treatment.

Bug me not

I haven't actually read the magazine, but it would seem from the cover that the people writing the magazine are not supporting gnome. If so, why is this posted here?

True, the Editor of Tux is

True, the Editor of Tux is very hostile towards GNOME, but he has always been that way. The above mentioned articles were not written by this editor and are worth the read. And who knows maybe with a little pressure from readers the editor will realize that the GNOME vs. KDE war ended YEARS AGO.

They have some articles about GTK+ Software

But.. "not supporting" is kinda.. mh.. understatement. they really HATE GNOME ( many of them ) and they use every childish way to mention that which i think is kind of a shame for a magazine that named itself "tux".. if they are so one sided they should name themselves "Konqi".

I am not against criticising GNOME.. GNOME has many faults and some GNOME Devs tend to sell their lazyness as innovation BUT i dont think it is neccessary to BIG Print this kind of ugly flaming in a magazine... really...
