Gnome 2.12.1 Released

The first point release of the stable 2.12.x series of Gnome has been
released. This release includes the latest bugfixes and other
improvements such as updated translations and is the first in a series
of point releases.

Glitz is not recommended by developers yet, if you had compiled your gnome you would know about that. IMHO the saddest thing about gnome-2.12 is that it is still heavily buggy, im on 2.10.2 and do not consider upgrading this year, i think it should be numered 2.11.99 right now instead of 2.12.1. I know many people like fix release dates but i'd rather like stable software. i think gtk-3.0/Ridley is the way to get gnome back on track, but 2.12? no way!
