Gnome 2.12.1 Released

The first point release of the stable 2.12.x series of Gnome has been
released. This release includes the latest bugfixes and other
improvements such as updated translations and is the first in a series
of point releases.

Well, if you've compiled

Well, if you've compiled your own distro, then you should know you can enable the Glitz backend for Cairo yourself. But I suspect you are actually using Gentoo, and therefore you have to figure out the right USE variable, if one exists, and remerge gtk+. So if you want to play with Glitz, compile the backend, but stable binaries are not going to be shipped with experimental features enabled.
