Nicely right after the Performance Love Day, GtkPerf team happily announces new version of GtkPerf tool with improvements to run automatic testing.

Changes:

  • Allow gtkperf to build on non gcc compilers such as forte. (Brian Nitz)
  • Patch for automatic test runs from commandline (Brian Nitz)
  • Improved above patch from Brian, to allow specifying test count from commandline. See "gtkperf --help" for instructions (Kaj Grönholm)

new tests

I'd like to see some new tests in gtkperf. Its good for what it does, but I feel that there are better tests that need to be performed. We need more tests that have to do with interactivity, such as resizing very structured windows, or opening and closing menus.
