Image Management with F-Spot

Mono
Mono

Linux Magazine have an article talking about the F-Spot Image management application. The story gives a brief overview of other popular programs available in the field before talking about the specifics of F-spot.

Problems with Fspot:

1. Mono was born directly from the devil's armpit.
2. It is too much of a niche app. Seriously, this is like that wine celler managing app that no one uses also. You can't compare it to gthumb and other *viewers* because they are not so emphasized on managing and organizing (which most people never care to do), they are mainly for day in, day out, photo *viewing*.

I guess that is fine for a small few but a) don't compare it to viewers and b) don't include it in gnome since it is too specialized.
