Buoh is an online comics reader for GNOME. This applications aims to help the comic lovers by providing an easy way of browsing and reading their favorites online comic stripes.

  • It can handle ~130 comics with a huge historical archive in all of them.
  • Easy, simple an eye-candy view of an online comic
  • Integration with GNOME (respecting the lockdowns and HIG compliance)

Last time I checked GNOME users were an infinitesimal small minority. We are not going to hurt their revenue. Besides, from a pure technical perspective this is just a special-purpose web browser so I think there's nothing illegal here.

I did a similar thing very recently. Wrote a small .NET program to display the daily Dilbert using WinForms (so that it works on Windows XP too). I would like to improve the thing with the Gtk# framework when I have some more spare time.
