Freerock GNOME 2.12.1 for Slackware Linux 10.2 has been released. The ChangeLog can be perused here.

ISOs for x86 platforms can be found here.

Packages for x86 platforms can be retrieved from any one of the mirrors.

Additionally, the x86_64 (64-bit) port of FRG can be found on the ports page.

Funny, I feel the exact opposite. The fact that dropline substantially modifies Slackware is a problem for me. I prefer my Slackware to remain Slackware. Thus, the unintrusiveness of Freerock and Gware is a major reason why they run on my desktop. There is a reason Pat recommended Freerock and Gware in the 10.2 release notes and did not mention Dropline. Nuff said.
