Took Me By Surprise Too. :)

Diffie, one of the DLG developers, got a wild hair and decided to start porting DLG a few weeks ago. He did it primarily on his own, with some assistance from a few DLG users. Most of us DLG devs are still running on 32 bit processors, but we hope to be able to join in on the development of DLG for x86_64 as well.

From what I understand, it's still a work in progress, but it allegedly works quite well so far.

That took me by suprise

Right, and it seems to run very well so far. I have to give it to the Dropline team, for a first release and the porting efforts, nice job!

I have not tried the Freerock x86_64 port of GNOME, how does this compare to Dropline's port to Slamd64, if anyone have tried both please share your opinions.
