GParted stands for Gnome Partition Editor.

It uses libparted to detect and manipulate devices and partitiontables while several (optional) filesystemtools provide support for filesystems not included in libparted.

It certainly has been a long time since the last release. All of a sudden i got caught up in 'real life' and couldn't find the time to work on gparted anymore.
It happens i suppose...

Anyway, gparted-0.0.9 contains lots of fixes, a few new features and tons of updated/new translations. See the Changelog for more information

RTFM, please

I realise that autopackage is a working piece of software, however there is a huge leap between having the software working and having the system working at a state where autopackage accomplishes its task in the way that will save the world. Autopackage needs enough packages to be created for dependancies to be settled. This is not the case yet.

Thank you for failing to do your research.

"# Does it do automatic dependency resolution like apt and emerge?

...

In future we will be able to use apt and similar depsolvers directly in case there are no available autopackages.."
