GNOME's marketing slogan for 2006 should be

I wish the slogan could fudge the truth a bit and be something like "Light and Speedy" or "Performance and Simplicity"... Alas, if only GNOME were light and speedy with exceptional performance... It's got simplicity down great though... Love GNOME for having everything that Just Works (TM)...

Hoping the GNOME optimization project (code cleanup) makes headway in 2006 to make GNOME feel sprightly... Then GNOME will truly be the superior desktop with no need for a fancy slogan and I can come running back to GNOME from a faster DE =P!
