Fedora Core 5 to Include Mono

Mono
Mono

Red Hat was the main opponent against the inclusion of Mono on their products or Gnome's core for the past few years. This situation was creating tention within the Gnome community. But this is all past now and Fedora Core 5 will include Mono, and some of its front row applications like Beagle, Tomboy and F-Spot will be too.

Not invented here?

It doesn't seem to have gone that way yet, in fact you can just choose to not use beagle, fspot etc... out of interest is it just only programs compiled to native code that are allowed, is perl, bash and everything else (you may have trouble starting the system), or languages that go to intermediate state; java, mono, sometimes perl, lots of others... or is it because microsoft invented it?
