The article is intended for developers of those applications but users could discuss these ideas so developers will know what a users wants.

No... in fact, archive managers are the low down on the priorities of most corporate desktops.

too, yet it still doesn't seem to get fixed. File roller does what it was supposed to, but I think it's just..not enough. File roller has never been a good archive manager, and probably never will be.

I believe that's the point I've already made. File-roller is crap.

Btw, I don't understand why are you always blaiming everything being under corporate influence etc.

I don't. There's also a lot of rank incompetence and stupidity.
