Banshee, the next best thing to Linux iTunes

I want an audio player that will do everything that Apple's iTunes does..... including working with my iPod ..... and do it natively on Linux. That's a tall order. I've tried many fine Linux programs..... KDE's amaroK, RealPlayer 10 for Linux, Xine, etc. .... but none have scratched my itch.

Banshee is _MASSIVE_

Banshee is incredibly bloated for a media player, far worse than both amarok and iTunes, combined. Banshee's use of mono and C# essentially means it requires 384MB of ram to even be considered, and you'll probably need more than 512 to run banshee with other apps.

Rhythmbox is smaller, but it is also better. It has more and better features, and is better to look at. Rhythmbox>Banshee in every single way.
