Why?

Why is it people feel the need to "fix" this "problem"? Maybe people are not the same, maybe gender means more than a pair of breasts? Maybe women, on the whole, have different interests to men, and on the whole, like to spend their free time in different ways? Maybe they are better suited to different things than men?

What next? A program to encourage more men to be Nurses? More women to be brick layers?

The differences between people, cultures, races, sexes - these are things to be cherished. Differences make the world an interesting place. It always makes me laugh that the people behind schemes like this often shout about "diversity", whilst in reality this is the one thing they are sure to destroy.
