IT@School GNU/Linux is a Debian based, single-CD distribution that includes the applications typically required by a high school student or teacher. Apart from a wide range of typical desktop software, it also contains educational programs such as TuxPaint, Ghemical, Kalzium, DrGeo, and Gcompris. This distribution uses GNOME as its desktop.

Good to see gnome making its way into schools

I for one am happy to see Gnome making its way into schools. By introducing Linux at a young age, many of these students will be familiar with Linux by the time they enter the marketplace.
