Next release

Anyone know when the next release of Abi is going to be? The last one was maybe a year and a half to 2 years ago? I remember that Gnome office was just starting to become a reality back then, and there was talk of syncing up GCalc (whatever that gtk-based spreadsheet was, the really good one that I always wanted to use but it fell JUST short of meeting my needs every time I tried it) and Abiword, having them use each other's components, and also there was talk of creating a presentation app (I think someone even got a pre-alpha going).

Is any of that still on? Is there no interest? Or has it been decided that Gnome office is a no go, that we have OpenOffice for now, and that we'll wait for the era of online productivity suites?

Anyone have any information for someone who's been out of the loop the last few years?
