openSUSE 10.3 was released yesterday. It contains many notable new features, including GNOME 2.20, summarized by the openSUSE GNOME Sneak Peak article.

Maybe best openSUSE release yet?

Outstanding work! The new GNOME feels amazing; Yast GTK, rewritten fast package management stuff (after that disaster from 10.1), fast boot process, Compiz Fusion effects, latest software (even search http://software.opensuse.org/, whole branding is superb, build service integration, overall hardware support especially on laptops is one of the best... it feels so polished, professional and things just fit together.

I must say this is very near "total GUI for system configuration" and if they keep up like that, also talking about the GNOME community's brilliant work, it might be hard to imagine how cool openSUSE 11.0 will become.
