is now ported to the GNOME 2.0 platform, so we're starting to prepare for the upcoming 0.9 beta1 of the whole GNOME-DB project. We've also set up a TODO list which can be checked to follow the missing bits for that beta1.

This beta will include the same functionality provided by the gASQL application in the GNOME 1.4 version plus the addition of a few basic functionalities. It will be accompanied by a new release of libgda and libgnomedb providing some improvements, specially in the case of libgda.

Re: GNOME-DB preparing for 0.9beta1

well, although libgda and libgnomedb are not yet on 1.0 stage, we're using the word unstable to refer to the fact that we are still adding new APIs and changing some things. But, apart from that, it is working perfectly right now for most database needs, so you can use them right now for your applications.

Also, having more applications using both libgda/libgnomedb will help us in adding/removing/modifying the API to make it perfect for 1.0. So please, start using them :-)
