Ctrl+F

In a list view, display a popup dialog where you can enter a sequence of characters that matches the first n characters of a filename.

No matter what you call it, this Accessibility work is very important for regular (without any disability) users too. The thing I most hated about X in a long time is that you needed to use the mouse for almost anything. Sometimes, using the keyboard is just so much more confortable... Luckily things have changed!
