Re: Solaris GNOME 2.0 Desktop Accessibility Guide 2.1 released

I really, really wish they'd start doing a total revamp of developer.gnome.org

The info on there is horribly out of date, and the site hasn't had much love for ages. Ideally they'd do what the usability team has done and stimulate a community around it so the docs stay up to date.

GNOME the desktop is fab, I love it to bits, but GNOME the developer platform still has some way to go. Something like MSDN for it would be fab - simply documenting all the libs and bindings in an easy to read format would be good. The current gtk-doc system makes it extremely hard to understand some things, its output just feels rather "messy".

This isn't a troll, just a wish that one of the weakest parts of gnome would be addressed. Yeah yeah, I know, I should do something about it, but I have no time, I already work on my own project, Wine and the nautilus web gallery.
