"He chose to paint the situation that exists between GNOME and KDE as a picture of glorious harmony - but then one can only ask questions. One can't dictate answers." So, what do you do when you're given a set of unprofessional and highly combative interview questions? You dodge the bullets and tell the truth! :-) Here's an interview I did with a local newspaper last week. Harsh!

Re: OT: Tabs question

It depends on your point of view, I suppose. With the exception of gedit (which automatically puts separate documents into tabs), you could have Mozilla open every page in a new window.

I personally prefer the tabs. I see my desktop as my "work area," with various subareas. One of these sub areas is my "web browsing area." My web browsing area has its own "task bar" that only displays my active web pages, instead of mixing, say, my web browsing with my document editing.

To me, it makes more logical sense. To you, it might not. There is hopefully a preference somewhere in your pet peeve app that lets you go without the tabs though.
